Professional English Final Year Project

For 30 years, the Department of English has been at the forefront of equipping students with the necessary skills for the workforce through its esteemed Professional English Final Year Project (FYP) Programme.

Students are given the chance to work together in small teams and serve as project advisors, giving them the opportunity to be associated with a major host organisation in the industry for a year. Students gain a wide variety of practical abilities during this fully immersive training, and they also build a useful professional network. Here, they get the ability to successfully apply what they have learnt in the classroom to actual situations.

The FYP Program guarantees that our students are highly marketable, accomplished, and sophisticated young employees when they enter the workforce.

NGOs like Orbis and Hong Kong Generation Next Arts, as well as businesses like Charlotte Travel and South China Morning Post, are some of our current partners.
