The talk will also mark the launch of the New Frontiers in Professional Communication Lab (NFPC) at the City University of Hong Kong. The NFPC, housed within the Department of English, builds upon a legacy of thirty-five years of professional communication scholarship. It aims to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world by conducting innovative research, collaborating with industry, and promoting knowledge transfer beyond traditional outlets.
