The Legal English project produced vidoes and teaching materials to promote effective communication and advocacy skills among law students and early-career legal professionals, many of who may be using English as a second language. The project also led to the collection of the Hong Kong Learner Corpus of Legal Academic Writing in English (HKLCLAWE), consisting of 535 legal assignments by 398 different writers at law schools in Hong Kong.
